As soon as as a class, we decided this was going to be our experience, this video came to mind right the way!! – i hope some of you can see the point of view where im coming from - ”the rainbow meets black and white”, all these extroverted personas are playing a role of meeting with the ‘other side’
My idea was to instead of having these cool facial expresions painted on our faces, we could have them made on the masks… i hope you think this is good, if you can all watch it, not just my materials group, it would be great, would love feedback on what you guys think!
This is Nic , from your Materials group, this will be a great source for all of us group members to keep in contact within eachother, i have also created a facebook group called MATERIALISTIC BETCHES! for those of you girls who’ve requested having that as well. I will post infromation on both websites, mainly on this one, because this will be also a great tool for other groups to have an idea of what we are doing compared with other groups. This will hopefully help us all maintain a continuos flow of ideas so we can all stay on the same page.
This post will hopefully help us all break the ice on such a big project, with so many group members, get us warmed up, throw ideas on costumes, head gear, props, materals, wardrobe, face paint, etc. Being communicated and staying in contact with the choreography team will help us furder develop a better strategy on how to develop our strategies as a team, so that the whole class is comfortable and can move with ease, given into consideration our design for the costumes we’re all going to wear.
